Give me a Beethoven

Mornin' people!

I meant to sleep in today since I don't have any lessons, but much to my dismay our dog (actually, it's a poodle, so I don't think Oliwer quite qualifies as a dog...) pounced on me at 7:30am and did everything in his power to keep me from going back to sleep. So I spent the morning watching Animal cops Houston on Animal Planet and figuring out how much more money I'll have to save before I can afford a dog. I was thinking 'bout buying a Doberman or a German Shepherd - depending on which one the rest of the family would prefer. I know my Grandpa loves german shepherds, so I'll guess we just have to wait and see.

I do love APBTs too, though, and if it wasn't for the fact that APBT-breeders are as rare in Sweden as polar bears, I'd defenitevily want one of those.

My dream of owning a large hairy dog that drools aside, my life's starting to get rather hectic. I've got... five tests to make up, I think, 2 essays which should've been handed in weeks ago, work four days a week, and to top it all off, I have started to prepare me and Bella for the upcoming competitions this summer. The dressage is going pretty good, but my fear of jumping is messing up the crosscountry and showjumping-part. This is actually the first time ever we're to compete in eventing, so I'm really, really excited - and half scared to death.

For those of you who actually waste time reading this blog, I'm going to do some posts on our final TMS (Technology, man, society) project. In a couple of weeks, Beatrice, Josephine, Gabriella and I are gonna do a presentation on the costs and benefits of social networking sites, and one part of the project is to actually participate in social networking. I think I can honestly say TMS is one of the few courses I actually enjoy.

Anyways, I'm off to work now. Until my next post, I think all of you should try and figure out what the word "Culchie" means! Dunno why, but it's become one of my favorite words :D

Over and out,
CJ
